Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community. Heights and Hills offers the following volunteer opportunities
Ongoing Involvement with Clients:
- Friendly Visiting – regular visits to chat, keep company, read together, and share interests
- Telephone Reassurance – regular phone conversations
- Escort to Medical Appointments – accompany someone to his or her doctor appointments and provide a "second set of ears"
- Heights and Hills Handicrafters – homebound elders knit and crochet items for donation to the needy

 One-time Tasks to help our Clients:
- Set up a DVD Player, Computer, Other Electronic Devices
- Shred Mail
- Hang Drapes
- Move Furniture
- Conduct Minor Home Repairs
- Change a Light Bulb, Fuse, etc.
- Shovel Snow, Rake Leaves, etc.
- Serve or Deliver Thanksgiving Dinner

- Management Assistance
