In 1971, a group of clergy and community activists joined forces and created Heights and Hills (then known as Heights and Hill Community Council) with the aim of promoting successful aging in place.
Today, Heights and Hills is one of the largest providers of supportive services for community-dwelling older adults in Brooklyn and their families. We provide compassionate and professionally delivered services that address older adults' physical and emotional challenges and we help put supports in place to allow elders to age on their terms, independently and with dignity.
Heights and Hills is dedicated to making Brooklyn a more livable community for people of all ages.
